We all know we have busy lives and prepping food for the week can sometimes be very overwhelming at first, but trust us when we say it’ll save you valuable times and the results will speak for themselves.

Meal prepping will save you over eating, eating on the run, or grabbing a quick fix from the supermarket on busy days.

If you have a slow cooker, cook a big batch and “voila” you have your lunch for the week. Maybe not add any sauces or spices and add them later to change up the flavour throughout the week.

San.   One of our many amazing members, took part in the 28 day challenge and not only did he win week two for all his participation with the group chats and inspiring others with his great efforts and cheering others, but he was the overall winner of the challenge.  😀


His transformation in eating habits and healthy lifestyle was amazing to watch. 


But the most outstanding achievement was how much his confidence grew as his body fat reduced and his weight went down.    


San is, and always has been a massive part of Ulysses since day one, he is a cheery chap and has a smile for everyone.   But as a nutrition coach, watching his confidence soar, has been emotional.

“I count macros perfectly so why do I need nutrition coaching?”


Ah yes. A common statement. So you count macros 👏, but let me ask you:


➡ what are those macros comprised of? Do you fast all day and have five double cheeseburgers or a parmo, but are happy cuz “bro! I hit my macros!” Or do your macros consist of whole food choices?


➡ aside from macro counting, how does your hydration look? Your sleep? Your micronutrients? 


➡ are you eating regularly?


➡ how is your nutrient timing - pre and post workout?


➡ are you measuring body composition to either validate or disprove your macro goals? Who set your macro goals?


Wow. So many questions. Should probably book a consultation with a nutrition coach and focus less on perfect macros and focus more on healthy and sustainable nutrition habits.
