If you live in town and want to try our services 1st we need to book a chat with our head coach. We call these no sweat intros. This is where we get to know you, you’re individual needs, are you hitting your nutrition well? and address any challenges before prescribing a solution.

WHAT IS CROSSFIT?

CrossFit is constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity. All CrossFit workouts are based on functional movements, and these movements reflect the best aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing and more. These are the core movements of life. They move the largest loads the longest distances, so they are ideal for maximizing the amount of work done in the shortest time. Intensity is essential for results and is measurable as work divided by time—or power. The more work you do in less time, or the higher the power output, the more intense the effort. By employing a constantly varied approach to training, functional movements and intensity lead to dramatic gains in fitness.

MIDDLESBROUGH WEIGHTLIFTING CLUB

Our new club training times are

  • Tuesday 6pm- ladies only (3 months free)

  • Wednesday 6pm- open to all

  • Sunday 4pm-open to all

  • Youth 8-13 session coming soon

Sessions are only £2.50 and anyone can come join the club and we are looking for volunteers to help out

We have just received funding in January 2018 from Sport England/Tees Valley Community Foundation to run a ladies project- First 3 months will be free
